Drive along the romantic Viale dei
Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo: a stop to admire the wonderful
panorama of the city,one of the most beautiful in the world. The tour will
proceed by coach to the old city centre. Outdoor guided tour of the Duomo
complex: Giotto's Bell Tower, the Baptistery with its bronze doors including
the famous "Porta del Paradiso" and the visit to the interior of the
Cathedral (*) with its magnificent Cupola by Brunelleschi. A short walk
through the historical city centre brings you to the renowned Galleria
dell'Accademia (**) where you can admire the famous David by Michelangelo
and other works by the same great artist. End of the tour inside the museum.

Afternoon Florence sightseeng
A fine coach tour offering panoramic views of the unparalleled beauty of Florence, taking in Fiesole, a delightful town of Etruscan origin set on the hills overlooking Florence and the Arno Valley. The tour continues to the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce (exterior). A short walk through the historical centre brings you to the famous Piazza Signoria, where you can admire the imposing Palazzo Vecchio (exterior) and the beautiful Loggia dei Lanzi. The tour continues with a guided tour of the famous Galleria degli Uffizi(*) where you can admire the superb painting of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio. End of the tour inside the museum. Duration approx. 3 hours.

A splendid excursion through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside, towards the historic university city of Pisa. A panoramic view of the beautiful riversides, then a guided visit on foot of the Piazza dei Cavalieri, where the Scuola Normale resides, one of the most famous universities in the world. The tour proceeds to Piazza dei Miracoli to find the celebrated Leaning Tower, the Cathedral (interior), an unequalled masterpiece of Romanesque art carried out between the 11th and 12th centuries, the Baptistery and other important monuments.

An interesting excursion through the countryside of the Chianti area, among delightful hills, with ever-changing scenery of vineyards and olive trees. A visit to San Gimignano, a tiny city that has remained intact through the centuries; the city is situated on top of a hill and famous for its numerous towers, frescoes and other art treasures. On arrival in Siena, free time for lunch (not included). Then a guided visit of this magnificent medieval city follows. You can admire the Cathedral with the Piccolomini Library, the Opera Metropolitana Museum, Piazza del Campo, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, the Town Hall. During the return journey, along the way you can admire the old medieval village of Monteriggioni.
